DMGroup is hiring a Growth Marketing Analyst for its Marketing team. The Growth Marketing Analyst position offers an opportunity to play a critical role fulfilling our firm’s mission to improve public education. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual to support our client outreach and engagement efforts. In this role, you will be the engine behind our digital presence, as well as the brain behind generating new leads to grow the top of our funnel through non-digital outlets.
LOCATIONDMGroup’s headquarters are located in Boston, MA. This role will be expected to report to the Boston office on a regular basis, with flexibility to work from home up to two days a week based on schedule and team needs.
WHAT YOU’LL DOOur ultimate goal is to increase the number of qualified marketing leads through various channels and grow DMG’s brand recognition.
- Campaign execution: Build, test, and deploy targeted email outreach and automated follow-up sequences
- Reporting: Analyze the performance of outreach efforts, providing weekly updates on open rates, CTRs, and conversion metrics. (e.g. “what marketing is working and why”)
- Website management and optimization: Own SEO optimization strategy and execution and maintain website with latest event information and knowledge pieces
- Content and copy: Draft high-quality marketing copy for emails and landing pages that resonates with education professionals while being to-the-point and interesting
- In-person event support: Help design and execute in-person DMG-hosted workshops and partner with leadership on conference attendance / sponsorship strategy
- Funding research: Support the leadership team by monitoring state and federal education funding updates to identify new lead opportunities
The ideal candidate should have/be able to:
- Degree: Bachelor’s preferred
- 2–3 years of marketing experience: Background in marketing execution and strategy
- Owner’s mindset: Proactive ownership over your work; you don’t just execute tasks but think a couple steps ahead to anticipate and flag risks, share new ideas with the team, and take responsibility for and have pride in your deliverables
- Detail orientation: Ability to make sure all components of a campaign are thoroughly taken care of (e.g. copy, recipient lists, no typos, timeliness of sends, etc.)
- Technical aptitude: Strong competency within Google Workspace suite, Microsoft Office suite, Zoom and other standard software applications Familiarity with CRM tools (Hub Spot, Salesforce, etc.) and email marketing platforms / reporting capabilities
- Strong writing skills: Strong command of the English language and grammar with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences
- Interest in K-12 education: Passion for education and desire to make an impact (prior experience not required)
