Our social channels are often where people experience the brand most directly. The tone, responsiveness, and everyday interactions there shape how Brooklinen is felt by the people who follow and shop with us. This role helps ensure those moments feel welcoming, genuine, and true to who we are.
We’re looking for a Freelance Community & Social Coordinator to support the day-to-day rhythm of Brooklinen’s social channels. This person will help keep our content organized, our community conversations thoughtful, and our social presence closely connected to the people who engage with our brand every day.

- Part‑time freelance role
- Approximately 15 hours per week
- Rate: $28–$32/hour
- Initial 3‑month engagement, with the potential to extend based on business needs
- Remote, with occasional collaboration with the Brooklinen social and brand teams
Support our organic social channels
- Maintain and update content calendars across Instagram, Tik Tok, and Pinterest
- Schedule posts and ensure content is tailored appropriately for each platform
- Help keep the behind‑the‑scenes workflow organized so the team can move quickly
Help care for our community
- Monitor comments and conversations across Brooklinen’s social channels
- Respond where appropriate and route customer questions to our CX team when needed
- Help ensure Brooklinen shows up online in a way that feels warm, natural, and human
Spot moments worth joining
- Source user‑generated content that reflects how people actually live with our products
- Keep an eye out for product mentions, cultural moments, and conversations where Brooklinen can participate naturally
- Flag creator or partnership opportunities and coordinate with PR when relevant
Support reporting and insights
- Assist with weekly reporting and performance tracking across channels
- Help surface insights about what content resonates with our community
- 1–2 years of experience supporting social media or digital content for a brand
- Familiarity with Instagram, Tik Tok, and Pinterest
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- An intuitive sense for how brands should participate in online conversations
- Curiosity about what people respond to culturally and creatively
- Someone who enjoys both the operational and creative sides of social media
- A collaborative, easygoing teammate who’s comfortable jumping in where needed
- Experience working with a DTC brand or within the home/interiors space
- Experience sourcing or working with user‑generated content
- A personal interest in interiors, home, or the small details that make a space feel lived in
