Purpose

The Scientific Affairs Partnerships & Operations Co‑op/Intern role will contribute to the success of Scientific Affairs Partnerships & Population Health (SPPH) by effectively supporting strategic initiatives related to implementation of specific partnership engagements. This role focuses on developing and executing a comprehensive communication strategy and plan that highlights the innovative projects and impactful outcomes driven by the SPPH team.

You Will Be Responsible For
  • Partner engagement with select partners
  • Support execution of specific project/engagements with select strategic partners (e.g., UIDP/Duke/UNC or Data partnerships)
  • Communication strategy development – shadow and input
  • Work alongside campaign mindset project lead to support the design of a comprehensive amplification plan for SPPH that aligns with organizational goals and priorities
  • Support execution of specific tactics to elevate awareness of SPPH’s contributions internally and externally
  • Content creation, internal and external amplification: develop and publish engaging articles for the company homepage, newsletters, and other internal platforms to showcase SPPH’s business impact
  • Produce high‑quality content tailored to diverse audiences, including employees, collaborators, and external partners
  • Execute on external amplification tactics identified in strategy – e.g., Linked In or other channels
  • Metrics and impact measurement: support the definition and tracking of impact metrics to measure the effectiveness of amplification efforts
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Enthusiastic about developing partnerships and strategic communications
  • Have experience in storytelling or marketing
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with the pharma and healthcare sector is a plus
  • Science, communications, and business majors are preferred (preferred colleges: schools that allow co‑ops, Drexel University, Northeastern University)
  • Experience with social media platforms is a plus

Pay

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $23.00/hr to $51.50/hr.
