We are looking for someone to help develop our Investor Marketing Plan.
We need someone who understands Investor Relations and how to interest investors in our program.
This is the position for someone who wants to get involved in the world of Climate Investment.
We have a 20 hour/week unpaid virtual internship program for F1 OPT students that provides real work experience, the type employees want.
We have students from ASU, U of North Texas,, and many others.
We have had 200+ interns.

Our goal is real work experience that can impress in interviews

We are looking for a Marketing Star.
- We need someone to create our marketing program
- We need someone to plan out 2 campaigns
- Identify and close investors
- Identify customers for our Indoor Vertical Farming products
- We currently post on Linked In and targeted social networks 4-6 times a day.
- Identify new appropriate social media networks.
Potential Investors include:
- Climate Change
- Climate Adaption
- Rehabilitation of Commercial Real Estate
- Food Security
- Green Bonds
- Clear marketing messages
- What are the stories we are telling
- Where to market to
The goal of the social media posts are to have these folks reach out and contact us.
This is real work with no cost to the student.
It’s a win-win, our projects is completed and the students get relevant work experience for job interviews.
Intern Status
The internship does not constitute a contract of employment. The internship is for 8 weeks and is automatically be extended on mutual agreement for additional 8 weeks at a time. It is the equivalent of an “employment at will” relationship. This means that you do not have a contract of employment for any particular duration. You are free to resign at any time for any reason.
Similarly, Local Grown Salads is free to terminate your internship at any time for any reason. Any statements or representation to the contrary, or that contradict any provision of this letter, are superseded by this offer letter.
There no commitment to a full-time position on completion of the internship implied.

Working with Universities and Colleges for course credit
Over the years we have worked with many Universities and Colleges to provide course credits for students.
The most common are:
- CPT Students
- Capstone Classes
- Work experience program
We have a standard process for our work. We track work that is assigned and performed with JIRA. So all the students can track what is expected of them and what they have accomplished.
Some of the Universities/Colleges have requested access and we provide them the ability to review what is being done.
As well, we are asked to rate the students two or three times during the term, which we do.
With ASU, the capstone actually operates over two terms.
We do not have the infrastructure to create course plans, however, we have plenty of material to allow the students to create a detailed curriculum.
