We’re looking for a Content Specialist to report to our Content Manager and craft compelling content for email, social, direct mail, video, and more. Your writing and creativity will shine as we bring an honest, playful, and humble approach to how we communicate with customers, prospects, partners, and fellow employees. You will help guide and manage external agencies/creators as part of our growing content engine.

You will be part of a small, but growing, marketing team having a ton of fun building something amazing. We have great work-life balance and enjoy what we do.

This role is based in Salt Lake City, Utah and is office-based with flexibility to occasionally work from home once fully onboarded.

• Help shape the content strategy.
• Collaborate with sales and other teams to identify content needs and develop or repurpose content appropriate for specific channels and target audiences.
• Manage external content creators and vendors, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to brand guidelines and quality standards.
• Ensure all content is consistent with Wes Tech’s mission, values, and brand voice.
• Conduct content audits and analyze content performance to inform future content investments and optimize strategies.
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in content marketing.
• Work cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure technical accuracy and strategic alignment of content.
• Contribute to the professional development of content creation processes and standards.

• Proven ability to think creatively and build compelling, approachable stories from complex products, processes, and customer challenges.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred, but emphasis will be placed more on experience.
• 5+ years of proven experience in creating content for all stages of the sales funnel and various marketing channels.
• Demonstrated experience managing external vendors and content creators.
• Strong portfolio showcasing compelling, creative content across formats, including examples that simplify or humanize complex topics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Experience using AI in content creation.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS), digital asset management (DAM), and marketing automation platforms.
• Ability to interpret content performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  
  Ability for occasional travel to trade shows, user groups, or treatment sites.

• Ability to work at a computer workstation and use a phone for extended periods.
• Regularly required to move about the office and interact with team members.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
