Role DescriptionElevation Marketing is looking for Sr. Content Copywriter (B2B). This is a full-time on-site role (with two work-from-home days a month or four half-days) located in the greater Phoenix area. This role involves developing and creating engaging long form copy and content, developing content strategies, conducting research, writing persuasive copy for both traditional and digital media forms, and ensuring high-quality proofreading.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in content strategy, branding, positioning, storytelling, advertising, and messaging. This role requires a versatile writer capable of producing high-impact content across a wide range of formats, including branding materials, digital campaigns, websites, social media, video scripts, sales collateral, and more.
The successful candidate will craft compelling narratives for both overarching brand initiatives and specific product communications. They will also engage directly with senior stakeholders, including C-suite and VP-level executives, at leading billion-dollar brands and smaller companies that may be pre-revenue, contributing to strategic discussions and helping shape brand and product messaging at the highest level.
Key Qualifications- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing B2B content and strategic messaging frameworks.
- Strong portfolio showcasing relevant writing samples across various formats and industries.
- Agency experience preferred.
- Solid understanding of current technologies, including cloud computing, open-source platforms, and emerging AI technologies.
- Experience with leveraging AI tools for content needs when appropriate.
- Proven ability to collaborate with internal teams and senior-level stakeholders at Fortune 500 companies to develop compelling messaging, positioning, and brand content.
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining strategic direction and tone, with the flexibility to adapt and negotiate changes as needed.
- Expertise in translating complex or technical concepts into clear, business-focused messaging and digestible content.
- Experience partnering with executive leadership to define and shape a distinctive brand voice and tone.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple strategic and tactical projects simultaneously.
- Conceptual thinker capable of guiding idea generation in partnership with senior leadership, across both brand and product initiatives.
- Solid understanding of digital technologies and their application in enhancing creative concepts.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to independently develop and execute innovative ideas.
- Exceptional writing skills with a focus on clarity, coherence, and impact across product, brand, positioning, and messaging content.
