Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.

Summary

This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive digital marketing campaigns for a premier gaming subscription service across multiple platforms including console, mobile, PC, and cloud. Working at the intersection of marketing strategy and campaign execution, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and deploy high‑impact campaigns that drive subscriber acquisition, retention, and engagement. This role requires a detail‑oriented professional who can manage multiple concurrent campaigns while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

You will serve as a critical bridge between marketing stakeholders and production teams, translating business priorities into actionable campaign briefs that result in flawless execution across all digital touchpoints.

Job Responsibilities
  • Drive digital marketing campaign strategy for over 20 campaigns per month across console, PC, cloud, and mobile platforms
  • Partner with product marketing teams to understand business priorities and develop campaigns supporting game sales and subscription growth
  • Develop comprehensive campaign plans and detailed campaign decks in collaboration with design teams
  • Route campaign decks into actionable tasks for production teams through Azure Dev Ops
  • Recommend messaging, imagery, audience targeting, and frequency caps for optimal campaign performance
  • Review campaign performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance results
  • Manage partner relationships through various meetings, including coordination with large external partners
  • Develop consistent playbooks for communicating campaign plans and performance with stakeholders
  • Contribute to go‑to‑market plans by sharing creative executions and reporting on campaign performance
  • Lead onboarding processes for new team members joining the organization
  • Collaborate with engineering, business planning, and programming teams to compile campaign details into comprehensive briefs
  • Propose and implement experiments to optimize campaign effectiveness
  • Provide cross‑functional guidance to team members overseeing customer experience, design, execution, operations, experiments, and analytics
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in marketing or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing campaign development experience, preferably for video games
  • Minimum 5 years of copywriting, messaging, and project management for marketing campaigns
  • Minimum 5 years working with programming, developer, or content management teams
  • 7 to 10 years of overall experience in advertising, media planning, product marketing, product management, digital merchandising, business strategy, or programming
  • Previous experience supporting large gaming consoles or gaming studios is highly preferred
  • Experience as a web content manager, advertising manager, media manager, or content manager is advantageous
  • Marketing campaign development with emphasis on digital channels
  • Copywriting and messaging for diverse audiences

    Redmond, WA (Hybrid:
    No set amount of days/week, the role will only need to come onsite once in a while for important meetings but will largely be working from home.)
