- Develop and optimize cross‑selling and retention strategies.

As a User Acquisition & Retention Manager, you will be responsible for building and further developing our cross‑selling, referral, and retention mechanisms across all Comparis products. You will ensure that one‑time visitors become active Comparis customers and that they use several of our offers in the long term. The following tasks will be part of your role:
- Design, implementation, and optimization of email and CRM campaigns along the entire user journey (onboarding, activation, re‑engagement, cross‑selling).
- Building and operating referral and recommendation programs.
- Launching and participating in initiatives that convert users into customers.
- Close collaboration with product, sales, SEO, and performance marketing teams.
- Planning and conducting A/B tests and funnel optimizations.
- Definition, monitoring, and further development of key KPIs such as activation, return rate, cross‑sell rate, and lifetime value.
- Analysis of user behavior and derivation of concrete optimization measures.
Skills and Qualifications
- More than three years of experience in cross‑selling, customer retention, email marketing, and marketing automation.
- Experience with CRM or marketing automation tools (Iterable, Lytics, Zoho).
- Very good understanding of customer journeys, funnels, and conversion optimization.
- Experience with tracking, analytics, and BI tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau).
- Structured, analytical, and data‑driven working style.
- High initiative with a pronounced hands‑on mentality.
- Team player and enjoyment of cross‑departmental collaboration with marketing, product, UX, data, and commercial teams.
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
