JOB LOCATION

This is a US REMOTE position, located in Austin, TX.

COMPENSATION

$26.35 - $38.45 / hour, Non-Exempt, with a discretionary bonus of up to 10%.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our team and become our new Marketing & Communications Associate!
The Marketing & Communications Associate supports the execution of integrated marketing initiatives that bring the brand to life across channels and markets. From content and packaging to retail, trade shows and operational marketing support, this role is ideal for a highly organized marketer who thrives in detail-oriented work across a variety of projects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Support the development and coordination of omnichannel marketing content.
• Manage the planning and execution of trade shows and industry events.
• Support the execution of integrated marketing campaigns and performance reporting.
• Coordinate packaging updates and approvals process across internal teams and external vendors.
• Manage purchase orders and invoice submissions for marketing vendors.
• Oversee trade promotions planning and execution including coupon programs.
• Assist with development of sales materials and presentations.
• Manage consumer affairs communications.

SKILLS and EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, communications or brand support roles (CPG or food, a plus).
• Experience working cross-functionally with sales and finance departments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar productivity software/suite.
• Experience working with professional design teams, Figma experience, a plus.
• Tracking and reporting marketing expenses.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Self-starter, ability to take initiative.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and vendor relationships.
• Clear communicator with strong follow-through.

Bonus points if you have...

• Agriculture, CPG and/or food experience.
• Professional experience in content creation and/or social media management.
• Digital marketing campaigns.

EDUCATIONAL / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

WORK HOURS:

• Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT

• Up to 10% of the time.
