Build Tik Tok Shop in Germany with Social Tale

Social Tale is a fast-growing Tik Tok Shop agency helping e-commerce brands scale through social commerce across the UK, US, and now Europe.

We are expanding into Germany and hiring a Tik Tok Shop Growth Lead to help build and scale our German market operation from the ground up.

This role is for someone who understands eCommerce growth, marketplaces, performance, and creator-led commerce
, and wants to be part of the team shaping how Tik Tok Shop is done in Germany.

• GMV & Growth Ownership (End-to-End)
  • Own GMV growth, conversion performance, and scaling strategy across Tik Tok Shop Germany accounts
  • Track and improve key metrics including GMV, CVR, ROAS, AOV, CAC, and retention
  • Make strategic calls that directly impact revenue and profitability
• Germany Market Launch Playbooks
  • Build and execute go-to-market playbooks for brands entering Tik Tok Shop Germany
  • Align creative, affiliate, paid, and promotional strategies into one growth engine
  • Move fast, test aggressively, and turn learnings into repeatable systems
• Creator & Affiliate Ecosystem
  • Recruit and scale a high-performing network of German and EU creators
  • Build repeatable systems for creator outreach, onboarding, and performance
  • Turn creators into long-term growth partners, not one-off activations
• Campaigns, Promotions, and Product Drops
  • Run platform-native promotions, product drops, and sales campaigns
  • Use trends and performance insights to drive outsized results
  • Build a cadence of monthly performance initiatives across accounts
  • Lead a pod of affiliate coordinators, media buyers, and creative strategists
  • Partner directly with founders and brand teams through weekly calls and reporting
  • Drive execution with clarity, urgency, and accountability
  • Ensure Tik Tok Shops are optimised daily across listings, approvals, campaigns, and compliance
  • Identify issues early and escalate where needed
  • Maintain clean reporting and performance documentation

• Have strong ownership and accountability (results matter)
• Have experience scaling eCommerce brands or marketplace growth
• Understand creators, affiliates, UGC, and performance-driven content
• Are confident working directly with clients and internal teams
• Are excited to build in a new market and set the standard early

• 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, performance marketing, marketplace growth, or digital commerce
• Experience with Tik Tok Shop or similar marketplaces (Amazon, Zalando, Otto, etc.)
• Strong understanding of creator partnerships, affiliate systems, and UGC-led growth
• Proven track record of scaling revenue in an agency or performance-driven environment
• Strong communication skills (client-facing + team-facing)
• Must be based in Germany

• Experience working in the DACH market or wider EU expansion roles
• Familiarity with Tik Tok Seller Center and commerce tools
• Experience working with fast-moving DTC brands
