About Partners for a New Economy (P4NE)

Partners for a New Economy is an international philanthropic fund dedicated to creating systemic change in how economies operate.

Founded in 2015, P4NE aims to transform the extractive economic systems that contribute to environmental degradation and social inequality. Its vision is an economy that serves both people and nature, respecting planetary boundaries and fostering wellbeing economies.

P4NE funds projects, supports field-building initiatives, and advocates for policy change across Europe and globally.

The organization collaborates with a network of funders, grantees, and policy leaders to push forward new economic thinking. Its core values include adaptability, collaboration, systemic thinking, care, and optimism, which inform its approach to work and engagement with stakeholders.

Position Overview

The Communications Manager / Consultant will work closely with the Field Building & Communications Lead to craft and deliver compelling messaging. The role involves managing day-to-day communications activities, developing strategic content, and ensuring that P4NE’s voice is consistent across all channels.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of new economic ideas and practice, and will be responsible for engaging diverse audiences—ranging from grantees and funders to policymakers and the public.

This is a part-time, freelance or employment-based role, initially for six months with the possibility of extension. The role is home-based, but availability during European working hours is essential to coordinate effectively with the team.
