Senior SEO Strategist – Community Platforms

Fully‑Remote (Work from Home) | 9 AM – 5 PM EST

The SEO Strategist will analyze keywords, develop, and execute a content strategy for the client’s subreddits. This role ensures that subreddit content ranks organically in Google, appears in Discussions & Forums snippets, and is optimized for LLM comprehension and AI‑generated summaries. The position requires in‑depth keyword and SERP analysis, content creation, and documentation of a repeatable process (SOP) for future clients.

• Keyword Research & SERP Analysis
  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research and SERP analysis to identify ranking opportunities specific to discussion‑based content.
  • Focus on:
    • Keywords triggering discussion or forum results.
    • Search intent suitable for Reddit‑style content.
    • Opportunities where subreddit posts can realistically rank.
  • Use tools like SEMrush to identify high‑value keywords, existing ranking threads, and content gaps.
• Content Strategy & Optimization
  • Develop a subreddit‑specific content strategy based on keyword findings, search intent, and ranking patterns.
  • Create and implement SEO‑, GEO‑, and LLM‑optimized subreddit posts, including:
    • Title structures aligned with search queries.
    • Semantically rich, answer‑oriented post bodies.
    • Content formatted for both human readers and AI systems.
  • Evaluate the impact of backlinks or external signals on subreddit rankings and provide implementation guidance.
• Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Track and report on post‑level performance, including rankings, visibility, and month‑over‑month trends.
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
  • Document the entire process into a clear, repeatable SOP, covering:
    • Keyword research and analysis methodology.
    • Content strategy framework.
    • Post creation and optimization guidelines.
    • Tracking, reporting, and iteration processes.
    • Templates and best practices.
  • Provide live or async walkthroughs to ensure effective knowledge transfer to the team.

• Proven experience in keyword research, SEO content strategy, GEO, and LLM optimization.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SEMrush or similar SEO tools.
• Demonstrated success ranking forum or discussion‑based content (e.g., Reddit, Quora) in Google SERPs.
• Experience managing or optimizing brand‑owned subreddits.
• Familiarity with how AI systems interpret, summarize, and rank community‑generated content.
• Background in building scalable SEO systems for agencies or multiple clients.
