Fynde Global Recruitment is looking for a dynamic Media Sales Manager to join a high-impact Media team within one of the Netherlands’ most recognised consumer brand. In this pivotal role, you will drive new business acquisition, shape compelling media strategies, and work at the intersection of technology, shopper data, and omnichannel advertising. You'll play a key role in scaling one of the most innovative Retail Media networks in Europe.

We’re looking for a media-savvy sales professional who’s eager to grow—someone who understands the digital media landscape, enjoys building new client connections, and can translate media opportunities into smart, results-driven campaigns.

What You’ll Do

As Media Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for attracting non-endemic advertisers (e.g., Entertainment, Energy, Automotive, Finance, Telecom, Travel) and demonstrating the value of an advanced retail media ecosystem that includes:

  • Selling cutting-edge omni-channel media propositions, including display, video, digital out-of-home, instore radio, app advertising, direct mail, and more.
  • Engaging directly with media agencies and brand advertisers to expand visibility and influence within the broader media mix.
  • Leading cold acquisition efforts—reaching out via phone, digital, email, and in-person—to win new business and open doors to fresh opportunities.
  • Designing impactful media plans that support client’s brand awareness, sales objectives, and shopper engagement.
  • Delivering compelling pitch presentations and organizing inspiration sessions for prospects.
  • Acting as a liaison between internal media operations, project and inventory managers, analysts, and external partners to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
  • Feeding insights from campaign performance back into strategy and fostering long‑term client partnerships.
  • Being a visible face of a high-growth media unit within a leading retail company.
What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 4–7 years of experience in Sales, Account Management, or Digital Media, ideally within a publisher, agency, or retail media setting.
  • Strong background in selling digital media formats: programmatic display, digital out-of-home, direct buys and video.
  • Experience working closely with media agencies and brand advertisers; an active network is a plus.
  • A commercial mindset and the ability to align media solutions with marketing and business goals.
  • A hunter mentality—confident in initiating contact, managing cold acquisition, and building lasting relationships.
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude, able to operate independently while also collaborating with internal teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Dutch and English.
  • Willingness to be on the move—meeting clients and prospects regularly, while also working from our Amsterdam office and remotely.
