We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to support brand and social media evaluation efforts within a large, matrixed marketing organization. This role focuses on maintaining evaluation documentation, supporting survey-based research, and assisting with reporting and presentation materials tied to social media performance.
This is a short-term contract position running from January 5 through April 4 2026. The position is fully remote, with the option for local Washington, DC area candidates to work onsite one or more days per week if desired. The role will support between 20 and 40 hours per week, depending on project needs.
What You’ll Do- Assist the Brand Social Media team with maintaining and updating social media channel evaluation documentation
- Update materials that support evaluation efforts, including online and email surveys, checklists, and reporting outputs
- Support the preparation and refinement of PowerPoint presentations for internal stakeholders
- Assist with internal research activities and documentation
- Update and manage Excel files used for analysis, tracking, and reporting
- Collect, organize, and validate data related to social media performance and engagement
- Support research efforts and contribute to written summaries and reports
- Collaborate with marketing and communications team members to ensure materials are accurate and current
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or social media–related role
- At least one year of experience using enterprise social media management tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or Sprout
- Experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data for reporting purposes
- Understanding of social media analytics and the ability to derive insights from data
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, with particular strength in Excel and Power Point
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Experience supporting brand or social media evaluation initiatives
- Comfort working across multiple projects with shifting priorities
- Prior experience supporting surveys or research-driven marketing initiatives
