Public Relations Specialist, San Diego, CA

Do you love telling a good story, building relationships, and driving wins for incredible clients? Fidelitas Development is seeking a rockstar PR maven to join our team as a Public Relations Specialist. The ideal candidate already has some agency-side PR experience, is coachable, and will be able to hit the ground running for both Fidelitas and our clients. The PR Specialist will report directly to the PR Manager.

NOTE: this is NOT a long-term remote position. Our team will return the office in 2022 and this position will be based in San Diego.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and Executing Public Relations Campaigns for Fidelitas Clients and Fidelitas Development itself
• Managing event opportunities (Speaking Dates, Sponsor ships, Panels, and Partnerships)
• Securing guest‑writing opportunities for Fidelitas thought‑leaders and clients
• Contributing to social media campaigns for Fidelitas and clients
• Contributing written content for Fidelitas and clients
• Building media relationships and client‑specific databases
• Contributing to Fidelitas’ own marketing campaigns

Desired Skills and Traits:

• Comprehensive knowledge of public relations
• Comprehensive knowledge of social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked In, Pinterest, You Tube, Tik Tok, and Snapchat
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Slack, and Google Suite
• Strong communications skills

Compensation: this position will range from $40,000-$48,000 depending on experience.
