The Regional Marketing Liaison (RML) - Daybue is a senior in-market role within the US Commercial organization, focused on strategic engagement with key opinion leaders to uncover regional insights and shape local market strategy. This role serves as a critical bridge between field and headquarters, leading speaker development, delivering disease-state (and product) education, and supporting approved educational program execution. The RML collaborates cross-functionally with field teams and home-office partners across Marketing, Sales, Market Access, and Medical Affairs to drive impactful, compliant engagement.
This position reports to the Director, Daybue Regional Marketing and is part of the US Daybue HCP Marketing team.
Note: This is a field-based role. Approximately 60% local/regional travel required by business which may include weekends, so proximity to a major airport within the territory is a must to ensure quick connectivity to air transport hubs.
Primary ResponsibilitiesDrive brand advocacy
- Develop deep clinical and commercial knowledge of the Rett market; understand the treatment and market dynamic in their specific regions.
- Drive results in key areas, including KOL relationship management, refining our approach to insights collection/reporting and advocacy development, speaker identification, training and management, and regional marketing efforts.
- Execute physician engagement activities in the field and at key congresses.
- Execute key market development plans/tactics for pending indications/approvals.
- Engage with national and regional thought leaders to impact education and drive brand advocacy of Acadia product offerings; work with regional teams to identify and cultivate emerging KOLs across different specialties.
- Serve as commercial liaison on thought leader engagement across departments including ELT, Sales, Medical Affairs/MSL, and Marketing.
Regional Marketing
- Work with cross-functional teams to provide key customer insights and input on strategy, tactics, messaging, and program execution.
- Develop and execute region-specific tactics tailored to regional needs/objectives; develop novel marketing solutions to address regional customer needs.
- Manage marketing projects and budgets associated with regional key customer activities.
- Interpret and translate scientific clinical data and market research insights into commercial TL strategy aligned to Daybue Brand strategy.
- Provide field-based training for sales, when needed.
- Balance customer-facing time and managing marketing projects.
- Coordinate with Matrix Partners on Account Coordination; monitor account-level execution, identify gaps, and drive coordination; work with RBL and regional leads to align on top accounts, regional marketing priorities and needs.
Peer to Peer Program Management
- Create appropriate branded and unbranded speaker program content.
- Develop physician speakers to provide high-quality speaker programs on disease state and product when appropriate.
- Provide refresher and follow-up training to speakers on approved speaker materials.
- Ensure appropriate and compliant execution of speaker programs.
- Monitor speaker performance at live programs.
- Provide field-based training to speakers on speaker programs when needed.
HCP Congresses Planning & Execution
- Lead planning and execution of Acadia's presence at assigned national and regional HCP conferences and scientific meetings in collaboration with home office marketing.
- Identify novel opportunities to partner with national and regional professional HCP associations to drive disease and product education.
- Formalize meetings (live, virtual, Congress) with senior leadership and KOLs.
Insight generation
- Identify and monitor regional clinical dynamics by leading regional advisory boards strategy and execution. Facilitate cross-pollination of best practices and highlight emerging issues to find solutions. Generate insights through secondary data, market research, and analytics and translate these into external expert strategy and tactical plan development.
