Position: Creative Design Lead - Performance & App Marketing (Remote - EU Based)
Location: Germany

We work with top brands and ambitious startups, providing data-driven strategies, hands‑on expertise, and a no‑BS approach to growth.

We’re looking for a Creative Design Lead – with focus on Performance & App Marketing – to take full ownership of REPLUG’s creative function, who can help us scale operations while maintaining the quality and strategic depth our clients expect.

This is not a people management role

This is a functional leadership role
.

You will own how creatives are ideated, designed, tested, improved, and showcased across performance marketing, app store assets, and all REPLUG visual output
.

Performance and app marketing creatives are the main focus of the role. At the same time, you are accountable for the entire REPLUG graphic department
, including brand, social media, B2B marketing materials, website visuals, case studies, and internal assets.

We care more about ownership and ideas than titles or years of experience
.

Tasks
1. Performance & App Store Creative Ownership and Execution

You own performance and app marketing creatives end‑to‑end. This includes both creative direction and hands‑on execution
.

You will:

  • Work closely with the Performance Marketing and ASO teams to ideate new creative concepts based on research, data, and testing insights
  • Translate performance data, user behavior, store analytics, and market research into concrete creative ideas
  • Proactively propose new angles, hooks, messages, formats, and storytelling approaches
  • Define what “good creative” means at REPLUG in a performance context, and raise the quality bar over time
  • Personally design and iterate on Advertising assets for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Google Ads, Display ads for main DSPs
  • Personally design and iterate visual assets for App Store and Google Play Store (screenshots, feature graphics, icons, visual concepts)
You are accountable for:
  • Creative relevance, clarity, and consistency
  • Alignment between creative concepts and performance goals
  • Making sure creative output is not just produced, but thought through, tested, and improved
2. UGC & Creative Experimentation
  • Use and experiment with UGC creation tools and workflows
  • Explore new creative formats, trends, and execution styles relevant to app marketing
  • Test different hooks, narratives, and visual approaches
  • Turn experiments and learnings into repeatable creative frameworks
4. Creative Systems & Quality Standards
  • Define templates, creative guidelines, and internal standards
  • Act as the quality gate for all creative deliverables
  • Improve creative workflows to make production more efficient and scalable
5. REPLUG Brand & B2B Support
  • Own the visual consistency of REPLUG across all channels
  • Support B2B marketing initiatives in collaboration with our Head of Marketing
  • Shape how creative work is showcased on the website, decks, case studies, and social media
  • Ensure internal and external visuals reflect REPLUG’s positioning and quality standards

Requirements

What we’re looking for:
  • Experience working with performance marketing and app marketing creatives
  • Strong understanding of how creatives influence performance metrics
  • Hands‑on experience (at least 2 years) with Paid UA and App Store assets
  • Familiarity with UGC tools and creative testing workflows
  • Ability to think in systems, not just single assets
  • Comfortable with challenging ideas and being challenged
  • Fluent in English
  • EU‑based and available for full‑time collaboration
