As a Capital One Manager, Product Marketing – Data Management, you’ll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of building this business and bring these tools to market.
This experienced product marketer will bring a strategic approach to messaging, positioning, competitive intelligence, customer insight, and go‑to‑market execution for our cloud‑based data security solutions. They will leverage their expertise in product marketing to drive customer engagement, adoption, and retention while working closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
The product marketing charter is to make our data management solutions successful in the market and with customers. They execute GTM strategies and campaigns focused on technical lead generations, product activation, customer success, and long‑term value realization. They are experts in our personas, customers and products, leveraging their insights to shape marketing strategies, ideate technical lead magnets, and support the sales team with compelling content.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Be the subject matter expert on key data management product areas, understanding both technical and business implications.
- Collaborate with PMM lead as well as Product Managers, Marketing, Enablement and other cross‑functional teams to align on vision, strategic priorities, campaigns, market trends and success metrics.
- Develop and maintain PMM assets including detailed ICP docs, competitive battle cards, SWOT analyses, product one‑pagers, sales collateral, pitch decks and more.
- Contribute to go‑to‑market plans and product releases, managing cross‑functional execution across partner teams.
- Analyze data from product usage, campaigns, content engagement and market insights to optimize performance and ROI metrics.
- Craft compelling product messages for internal and external purposes, acting as the product expert for partner teams.
- Produce high‑quality long and short form content, including videos, blogs, thought leadership, case studies, customer PPTs, demos and website content, among others.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 3 years of product marketing or product management experience for data management, data observability, or technical B2B SaaS company
- At least 3 years of experience executing GTM strategies and launching enterprise products
- At least 1 year of background and experience in the B2B data market
- At least 1 year of experience working for both startups and scaled companies
- At least 2 years of project management skills
- Demonstrated experience where you have successfully taken initiatives from 0 to 1
- Demonstrated experience marketing data products like data clouds, data management tools, data optimization solutions, or data observability and governance platforms
- Strong understanding of the competitive landscape within the data management market, including key players, their strengths and weaknesses, and emerging trends
