• Translate complex scientific and medical information into engaging stories for marketing efforts

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of seven years' experience in public/media relations, marketing, journalism, or a related field
• Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• High level of sensitivity to confidential information

• Strong command of Associated Press (AP) style
• Background in healthcare public relations or media relations in a university or academic health system setting
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications
• Consumer-level photography and video skills
• Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and implement supporting tactics
