Working at OK COOL as a Social Media Executive means being a true social media enthusiast with a strategic and creative mindset. You’re detail-oriented, highly organised, and solutions-focused, with a passion for growing communities and delivering measurable results for clients.

In this role, you’ll support the planning, execution, and optimisation of social media activity across premium client accounts. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure all content aligns with overarching strategy, brand tone of voice, and visual identity, while thriving in a fast-paced agency environment.

Responsibilities
  • Build and manage monthly content plans, ensuring all content aligns with overarching strategy, client tone of voice, and visual identity
  • Schedule and publish content at optimal times across relevant platforms.
  • Manage day-to-day community management, including responding to comments and DMs, and proactively nurturing engaged online communities
  • Monitor social media performance and report on organic results, providing strategic and creative insights, learnings, and recommendations
  • Apply a strategic lens to performance against KPIs, identifying optimisations, opportunities, and areas for growth
  • Use Airtable (our project management tool) to manage content calendars, client feedback, approvals, and workflows
  • Actively seek out relevant social, cultural, and industry trends for clients to leverage
  • Craft clear and detailed monthly design briefs for the creative team
  • Track and report on performance using social listening and analytics tools, including client-supplied platforms such as Dash Social and Hootsuite
  • Support additional tasks and responsibilities as required
Relevant experience
  • 1–3 years’ experience in social media, with agency experience preferred
  • Experience developing social media and content strategies
  • Proven experience developing social media and content strategies
  • Strong copywriting skills for social platforms
  • Highly organised, with experience managing multiple clients or accounts simultaneously
  • Experience in the travel, luxury, or hospitality industry is a bonus!
Required skills
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Hands‑on experience with Instagram, Facebook, Linked In, and Tik Tok
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for social media trends, with the ability to proactively share insights with the team
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a solid understanding of content strategy, platform nuances, and social performance
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience analysing and presenting performance data in reporting meetings
  • Self‑starter with a high level of initiative, comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced agency environment
  • Solid understanding of online community building and engagement
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, delivering high‑quality output within set time frames
