We’re looking for a Marketing Director who’s as strategic as they are a self-starter—someone who can architect campaigns, optimize performance, and build scalable systems, all in the same week.
You’ll partner directly with leadership as our first marketing leader to define outreach strategy and roll up your sleeves to execute. You understand markets (especially insurance, restaurant, and retail) and how to influence customer decisions deeply while thriving in a fast-moving, high-growth environment where impact is visible every day and results every week.
Local Hero is a MAAP – Marketing as a Platform – technology company that blends local digital media, dynamic ad creation, self-serve technology, and full-service value to create custom campaigns and increase consumer traffic for national brands and local franchises.

Responsibilities- Translate business goals into measurable KPIs, budgets, and campaign framework.
- Develop, define segments and objectives, collaborate on design, and optimize demand‑generation across Google, Linked In, and other platforms.
- Manage Hub Spot performance dashboards, facilitate reporting, and ensure alignment with sales and product.
- Collaborate on the 4P marketing mix, campaign alignment, MQL pipeline, and revenue goals.
- Hire and grow marketing staff, specialists, contractors, and creative partners.
- Monitor market trends, performance data, and platform shifts.
- Lead conference and event strategy, booth development, site marketing, sponsor ships, and sales collaboration.
- Accountable for brand assets performance: corporate website, client landing pages, print collateral, and sales proposals.
- Provide external input, run market research, and present results to leadership.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to secure campaign results and strategic insights.
- 7–12 years of progressive marketing experience in a digital agency or SaaS environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience leading campaign planning, budgeting, and optimization across multi‑channel media.
- Expertise with Hub Spot or similar CRM platforms and analytics/reporting tools.
- Strong project management experience, especially using Asana or Airtable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at presenting and crafting copy.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives with priority.
- Built or managed an internal marketing function or helped scale an agency’s marketing.
- Analytical, creative, and operationally disciplined.
- Think in dashboards, funnels, and feedback loops.
