Position OverviewA high-end retail organization is seeking a highly organized, creative, and standards-driven Marketing Manager to lead brand marketing, content creation, and event execution across two Minnesota locations. This role is ideal for a marketing professional who thrives in a premium retail environment, understands elevated brand presentation, and can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution. The Marketing Manager will work closely with internal leadership and an external marketing agency to ensure all initiatives align with in-store execution, current promotions, and overall brand standards.
This is a hybrid role requiring both remote work and regular in-store presence to capture content, support events, and ensure marketing efforts accurately reflect the customer experience.
- Lead and execute marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing calendar, planning campaigns 60-90 days in advance.
- Partner with an external marketing agency to manage email marketing, SMS campaigns, retargeting, and paid digital initiatives.
- Ensure all campaigns align with established brand voice, visual identity, and presentation standards.
- Oversee daily social media activity across platforms, including Instagram and Facebook.
- Plan, create, and publish posts, stories, and short-form video content.
- Coordinate photography and video assets to support promotions, campaigns, and events.
- Ensure consistent content coverage across both locations.
- Provide content assets for email, SMS, and digital advertising initiatives.
- Track performance metrics and analyze engagement to refine content strategy.
- Support planning, coordination, and promotion of in-store events, including loyalty events, fundraisers, sales promotions, and brand activations.
- Collaborate with store leadership to ensure events are effectively promoted and executed.
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and promotional materials for each event.
- Partner with the Sales Manager to align marketing efforts with sales initiatives and promotions.
- Ensure marketing messaging translates seamlessly to the sales floor.
- Support store teams with clear communication regarding campaigns, promotions, and event objectives.
- Maintain regular in-store presence to ensure marketing reflects the in-store customer experience.
- Develop compelling, on-brand copy for social media, email and SMS campaigns, website updates, and event promotions.
- Ensure all messaging aligns with high-end retail brand standards and identity.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, social media, or brand management (retail or luxury brand experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of high-end retail presentation and customer experience.
- Proven ability to manage content calendars, campaigns, and multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong photography, video production, and content-editing skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
