Social Media Manager wanted to grow Sun Staches’ fanbase and content!

$2,000–$2,700/month | Full-time | Fully Remote | 5am–12pm PST

Hey there! We’re Sun Staches, based out of sunny Los Angeles. We make fun and innovative sunglasses – even kids’ sunglasses with character face coverings from big names like Disney and Marvel. You might have spotted us on Shark Tank!

Our mission is simple: bring cool, playful ideas to life and get them into the hands of our fans through major retailers like Walmart and Target.

We’re a small, dynamic team that thrives on creativity and energy. If you love a fast‑paced environment where your ideas can make a real impact, this is your playground. We value people who are proactive, curious, and ready to help shape the future of fun eyewear.

You’ll take our social channels to the next level while keeping things fun, on‑brand, and fan‑focused. You’ll help the marketing team stay active across platforms, engage with our community, and create content that drives both buzz and sales, while reporting to Amanda Vega, Sr. Director of Product Development and Marketing.

• Create and maintain a full social media calendar, scheduling content around licensing key beats, holidays, and trends.
• Update all social media channels daily—restart Instagram and Facebook, create Tik Tok.
• Answer all customer service questions and comments.
• Create and foster an online community of Sun Staches fans to generate UGC.
• Showcase all our licensed brands with their own themes while staying true to Sun Staches.
• Create key marketing plans around all product launches.

Monday–Friday, 5am–12pm PST, with check‑ins needed on weekends and holidays.

• Self‑directed:
  Can run with ideas independently without constant direction.
• Process‑friendly:
  Comfortable working with brand guidelines, licensing rules, and structured feedback.
• Organized and reliable:
  Posts on time, tracks content calendars, and meets deadlines.
• Clear copywriter:
  Write concise, playful captions that are unique and on‑brand.
• Customer‑aware:
  Understands how comments, DMs, and community interaction reflect on the brand.
• Pop culture fluent:
  Knows characters, fandoms, nostalgia, and emotional connections.
• Product proud:
  Loves the product and enjoys showing it off.

• Adobe Suite skills.
• Experience using AI tools.

The ideal candidate is playful yet professional, naturally creative, and detail‑oriented. You know how to balance humor and brand safety, can spot trends and adapt them thoughtfully, and love engaging fans with visually compelling stories.
