We are The Fountain Group,a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a Communications Specialist for a prominent clientofours. This position is Fully remote

Job Description:

• Pay: $25–$35/hr to start
• Duration: 6-month assignment with potential for extension based on performance and budget
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, fully remote (must be comfortable supporting CST)

• Develop and execute comprehensive external communications and media relations strategies for the FCC and LR divisions, creating and managing materials including press releases, statements, news alerts, blogs, social media content, by-lined articles, and executive communications while ensuring alignment with divisional objectives.
• Proactively engage with targeted media, analysts, and influencers to increase visibility, pitch stories, coordinate meetings for executives and SMEs, leverage insights to build external awareness, monitor coverage, and address emerging industry trends.
• Establish and maintain strategic media and stakeholder relationships, manage PR review and approval processes, coordinate participation in awards and analyst recognition programs, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent, high-impact messaging that supports broader business goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field preferred
• 7+ years of experience in media relations or external communications within corporate or public relations environments required
• Experience with public relations required
• Advanced degrees or certifications in communications or marketing preferred
• Experience in finance, legal, or banking industries preferred
