We’re One-eyed Jack, an award-winning creative communications agency known for building the brands that everyone loves. We work at the intersection of PR, design and events, from founding and producing iconic platforms like the Content Creator Awards, to launching lifestyle brands and shaping serious corporate reputations. We believe that great PR is about storytelling, strategy and timing. This role spans B2B and B2C, corporates and lifestyle, and calls for someone who knows how to read the room, spot the angle, and land the story.

We’re looking for a PR heavyweight, someone who can think strategically, write beautifully, pitch smartly and build relationships that last. You’ll lead PR campaigns that cut through culture and conversation, working closely with clients, media and our internal teams. • PR strategy and storytelling:
  Develop and execute PR strategies tailored to client goals and audiences.
• Align PR efforts with wider marketing, design and event campaigns.
• Identify newsworthy angles that make brands relevant, timely and talked about.

• Lead PR strategy and execution for corporate and B2B clients, building credible, results-driven narratives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business, trade and mainstream media.
• Write and place press releases, thought leadership, opinion pieces and executive profiles.
• Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure messaging is accurate, strategic and on brand.

• Manage media coverage for major launches, activations and awards.
• Handle on-site media, conduct press briefings and ensure seamless coverage.
• Coordinate announcements, nominee reveals and post-event publicity.

• Identify influencers and creators who genuinely align with client brands.
• Coordinate influencer campaigns that feel authentic, not transactional.

• Track coverage, sentiment and impact using relevant PR metrics.
• Deliver clear, insightful reports that show value beyond the headlines.

• Proven experience securing coverage across business, lifestyle and mainstream media.
• Strong, trusted relationships with journalists and editors.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with a natural flair for storytelling.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
• Calm under pressure, organised by nature and obsessed with detail.
• Confident communicator who builds trust with clients and colleagues alike.

• 8 - 12+ years’ experience in public relations, ideally across corporate and lifestyle brands.
• Degree or diploma in PR, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
• Comfortable using PR tools, media monitoring platforms and social media.
