Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM PST (Open to Flexibility)

COMPENSATION: $4.50 per hour

Job Description

The SEO Specialist plays a critical role within our Marketing Team, driving organic growth by developing and implementing SEO strategies that align with our mission of improving lives by transforming people’s homes. Our company provides high-quality, affordable home improvement products and services, and we’re committed to delivering a fun, convenient, and hassle-free remodeling experience to every client.

In this role, the SEO Specialist will be responsible for optimizing our online presence, ensuring that prospective customers can easily discover our services through search engines, local directories, and other digital platforms. The position requires a mix of strategic thinking, analytical expertise, and creative content development to generate measurable results that contribute to business growth.

Offer Agreement Responsibilities
  • SEO Strategy & Execution:
    Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies focused on local service-area targeting.
  • Keyword research, competitor analysis, and identify gaps to prioritize high-impact SEO opportunities.
  • Optimize on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, content) and technical SEO (site speed, mobile-friendliness, schema markup).
  • Local SEO & GBP Management:
    Optimize Google Business Profiles for multiple locations, ensuring accurate service area selection and localized content.
  • Improve review volume and quality using automated follow-ups and customer incentives.
  • Increase local pack rankings and “near me” search visibility through regular GBP updates.
  • Content Strategy & Creation:
    Develop localized content (e.g., blogs, guides, landing pages) addressing homeowner pain points.
  • Collaborate with designers to create engaging video content for You Tube and social platforms.
  • Build topical authority by optimizing service pages with FAQs, case studies, and testimonials.
  • Backlink Development & Authority Building:
    Acquire high-quality backlinks from industry directories, local business partnerships, and niche blogs.
  • Lead guest posting campaigns and co-branded content opportunities with influencers or contractors.
  • Leverage PR opportunities (e.g., local news features, project highlights) to secure editorial backlinks.
  • Analytics & Reporting:
    Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and lead generation.
  • Provide monthly reports with actionable insights and ROI analysis for SEO initiatives.
  • Stay updated on search engine algorithm changes and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Collaborate with paid media teams to align SEO and PPC keyword strategies.
  • Partner with sales and operations to ensure SEO efforts align with business objectives.
  • Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of SEO best practices within the team.
