Position: Marketing Specialist (Contract)

Location: Seattle, WA (Preference for candidates based in Seattle)

Job Type: Contract (Full-Time, with potential to convert to Full-Time after 6 months)

Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension or full-time conversion)

Reports To: Senior Director, Marketing

Way is building the first automotive services ecosystem, connecting businesses with customers who use Way for cash‑back automotive benefits. Way provides customers with opportunities to save on services including parking, fuel, car wash, insurance and repair & maintenance.

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring brand alignment across all marketing deliverables, including social media, sales materials, emails, press releases, and more. You will also be tasked with vetting content for both brand consistency and product alignment
, ensuring that all materials are accurate and reflect the latest industry trends.

Additionally, the role requires familiarity with CRM tools to help manage customer communications, track engagement, and assist in campaign execution.

This is a Full-time contract role, with the potential for transition into a full-time position after 6 months based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Brand & Product Alignment: Ensure that all marketing materials (social media posts, sales brochures, email campaigns, press releases, etc.) align with the company’s brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Draft, review, approve, and provide feedback on various content pieces across multiple channels to ensure consistency with the brand voice, product details, and industry accuracy.
  • Proofread and edit marketing materials for accuracy, grammar, style, and consistency with company messaging.
  • Assist with the management and maintenance of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot) to track customer interactions and monitor engagement.
  • Ensure CRM data is up‑to‑date and accurately reflects customer journeys and campaign performance.
  • Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely content delivery within project timelines and specifications.
  • Manage approval processes for content to ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
Requirements:
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with CRM tools (Pipedrive, Salesforce, Hub Spot, or similar).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels, with focus on Linked In and email marketing.
  • Familiarity with publishing on PR Newswire.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on brand consistency, product alignment, and industry accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles, especially in digital and content marketing.
  • Location: Preference for candidates based in Seattle, WA for ease of collaboration with the team. While work will be mostly remote, manager may request in‑person work sessions at a coworking space as needed.
