Meet PROPERONI®, a purpose-led challenger brand looking to rid the world of mediocre pepperoni one slice at a time. A PROPER clean label, not ultra-processed pepperoni brand with a retail presence in TESCO and Ocado and a strong presence within food service. We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Executive to join our small team!
This role offers a unique opportunity to support the development of our overall marketing activity – with a strong focus on social and digital – and to put your creative stamp on our brand.

Key responsibilities
Social & content
- Support the day-to-day management and community management of PROPERONI’s social media channels, especially Tik Tok and Instagram.
- Proactively engage with our community (comments, DMs, tags), including light-touch weekend check-ins to reshare key stories and keep the conversation going.
- Create engaging content (video, static, stories) that enhances brand presence and reaches target audiences.
- Monitor and analyse social media performance, helping to pull insights and simple recommendations.
- Support social listening, keeping an eye on online trends and reactive opportunities for the brand.
- Work with the Head of Marketing to identify complementary brand partnerships and potential influencers.
Wider marketing support
- Assist with the execution of digital marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.
- Support coordination of online promotions, contests and giveaways.
- Create blog posts, website updates, articles, email content and multimedia assets to support the annual marketing plan.
- Assist with basic website and ecommerce tasks (e.g. updating product copy or assets) and support broader digital activity.
- Use analytics tools to help track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across social and digital channels.
- Provide regular light-touch reports on the effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives.
Creative & cross-functional support
- Collaborate with the marketing team to produce visually appealing and compelling content for social and digital channels.
- Use Photoshop (and/or similar tools) to create and adapt artwork for consumer and trade shows, digital banners, social assets and other marketing materials.
- Work with Canva and basic video editing tools to bring campaign ideas to life.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing creative ideas and solutions across brand, digital and trade activity.
- Provide ad hoc support for marketing events, including consumer and trade shows and sampling events, when required.
- Assist the sales and marketing team with store compliance checks and other general marketing admin tasks.
Skills and experience
- Currently working in, or having recently worked in, a marketing role, with a desire to progress and take on broader responsibility.
- Passion for and good understanding of social media platforms, especially Tik Tok and Instagram.
- Experience in community management (e.g. responding to comments/DMs, engaging with followers) is a plus.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid working knowledge of Photoshop to create and adapt artwork for shows, digital banners and social media assets.
- Ideally familiar with tools such as Canva and video editing software.
- Bonus:
Experience with Klaviyo (or similar email platforms), Shopify ecommerce and Google Analytics. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Available to visit the Colindale office in North London.
- Demonstrated interest in the food industry and a willingness to contribute innovative ideas.
