Role summary

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager from a DTC background to own the marketing calendar, lead a four-person team, and ensure a consistent flow of on-brand, high-quality content that enables our eCommerce, Retail, and Product teams. You operate with urgency, communicate clearly, and run tight processes that ship work on time and on budget.

Key Performance Indicators
  • Calendar execution: ≥95% of planned initiatives shipped on time and on budget; monthly variance reporting.
  • Content throughput & quality:
Creative assets delivered to channel owners per brief and SLA; brand standards met; content workflow adherence in Asana ≥95%.
  • Team leadership:
Weekly 1:1s, clear goals and accountability; timely feedback and development.
  • Performance impact:
Campaigns achieve agreed targets (e.g., MER/ROAS/CPA, Revenue-per-Email, Annual Monthly Email Revenue); clear keep/kill recommendations.
  • Process improvement:
Remove bottlenecks; reduce creative cycle time and increase throughput quarter-over-quarter.
Responsibilities

Content Operations

  • Ensure the creative team delivers high-quality video and static assets to the eCommerce team per brief, timeline, and spec.
  • Own and optimize content workflows in Asana; remove roadblocks; implement tooling that increases throughput.
  • Safeguard the brand, maintain standards and navigate sensitive topics with tact.

Marketing calendar & campaigns

  • Own the marketing calendar; keep cross-functional stakeholders aligned across channels at all times.
  • Co-lead annual marketing budgeting and planning.
  • Envision, champion, and project-manage standout campaigns from brief to post-mortem; measure results and recommend keep/kill.
  • Partner with the Director of eCommerce on go-to-market plans.

Consumer Insights

  • Run lightweight in-person and remote surveys; translate insights into messaging, offers, and creative tests.
  • Position products for success across DTC and retail.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Sales on packaging and collateral.
  • Attend key retail trade shows.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Measure the success of marketing campaigns and tailor future campaigns accordingly.
Your Skills
  • 5–8 years of B2C/DTC marketing experience, including 2+ years leading people.
  • Proven ownership of a marketing calendar and content operations at pace.
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable with performance metrics (MER/ROAS/CPA), sales trends, and experimentation.
  • Excellent written communication and meticulous proofreading; high bar for brand and design quality.
  • Nice to have:
Experience partnering closely with paid media teams (Meta/Google) and marketplaces (e.g., Amazon).
Attributes

Positive, accountable, calm under pressure; decisive with a bias for action; empowers others and challenges the status quo when needed.

Daily Tasks
  • Meet the content needs of the organization.
  • Ensure Santevia’s marketing calendar is on-track and up-to-date. Communicate marketing objectives often and cross-functionally.
  • Work with digital and retail teams to launch successful campaigns, both promotional and non-promotional.
Compensation
  • Annual performance bonus:
    Up to 10% of salary
  • Benefits:
Extended health benefits; paid time off (2 weeks)
  • Schedule:

Hybrid; work from home on Thursdays; otherwise on-site in Vancouver, BC
