Position: Contract Performance Copywriter

Overview

tbk is a performance-driven marketing and web agency seeking a Contract Performance Copywriter to join our team on a part‑time retainer basis. We are looking for an individual who can craft compelling, conversion‑focused copy rooted in research, brand strategy, and SEO best practices. This is not a journalism‑style content role—we are seeking a true strategic thinker who understands how to write copy that moves metrics.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in marketing and advertising copywriting across digital channels, knowledgeable in SEO tools like SEMrush and Google Analytics, and passionate about writing for diverse client industries.

Scope of Work
  • Writing website copy, landing pages, paid and organic social media content, emails, and blog posts
  • Creating ad copy for digital campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, etc.)
  • Developing messaging frameworks and brand voice documentation
  • Conducting keyword research and writing SEO‑optimized content
  • Collaborating with strategists, designers, and developers to align copy with performance goals
  • Reviewing analytics (via GA4, SEMrush, etc.) to inform and optimize content strategy
  • Participating in occasional client discovery or feedback sessions
Requirements
  • 3+ years’ copywriting experience in a marketing or digital agency
  • Proven track record of driving measurable results (e.g., conversions, engagement, click‑through rate)
  • Strong knowledge of SEO and keyword strategy, with access to tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or equivalent
  • Active Google Analytics certification (e.g., GAIQ)
  • Ability to adapt tone and voice across diverse industries and audience segments
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working within brand and strategy frameworks
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and digital best practices
Contract Terms
  • Type: Part‑time remote contract
