The Marketing department at Lark is growing and wants you, an entry‑level Marketing Coordinator in Western Canada (this is a fully remote role, with occasional in‑person syncs with local team members), to be a pivotal member of our dynamic, multichannel marketing team. We are seeking a talented storyteller and content curator who can craft compelling narratives that resonate with our guests across our marketing channels.

This tech‑savvy team player will collaborate alongside our other marketing coordinator to help keep all the trains on track, as you both will support optimizing our marketing technologies to better engage our new and loyal guests. The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role, responsible for supporting our team of digital marketing experts for our growing portfolio of hotels and restaurants.

Responsibilities Project Management
  • Coordinate multiple projects from conception to completion
  • Develop and maintain project timelines and milestone tracking
  • Utilize project management tools to ensure efficient workflows
  • Develop compelling copy for paid search campaigns that drive conversions
  • Write engaging email marketing campaigns that nurture guest relationships
  • Craft website content that informs, inspires, and converts visitors
  • Develop content calendars aligned with marketing initiatives and seasonal campaigns
  • Optimize content for AI and SEO to improve organic search performance
  • A/B test headlines, copy, and calls‑to‑action to improve campaign performance
  • Manage content across CMS platforms and digital marketing tools
Digital Marketing Coordination
  • Website content management using a CMS platform
  • Create and run website and digital ad A/B tests
  • Support digital ad creation and management
  • Monitor guest reviews from reputation management
Strategic Support
  • Create and implement content on various digital platforms
  • Support SEO efforts
  • Manage digital assets and ensure brand consistency
Analytics and Reporting
  • Assist in configuring and generating monthly reports
  • Assist in quantifying the benefits of our marketing efforts
Qualifications Required Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in project management software (like Basecamp)
  • Experience with collaborative project tracking and reporting
  • Proven ability to write for different channels, audiences, and purposes
  • Understanding of content marketing best practices and SEO principles
  • Experience with social media platforms and content management systems
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills
Preferred Technical Competencies
  • Certification in web analytics and digital marketing
  • Knowledge of booking and reservation management systems
  • Usage of graphic design tools like Canva or Photoshop
Qualificatio ns
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • 1‑3 years of marketing or hospitality experience
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Strong digital literacy and comfort with emerging technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative problem‑solving abilities
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills
Compensation

$47,000 - $50,000 CAD Yearly
