Aboutthe Role
We're seeking an experienced social strategist to lead and scale Nanit's organic social presence. In this role, you'll set the strategic direction for our social channels, define how Nanit shows up for parents, and lead a mix of internal and external creators to execute have a deep understanding of social platforms and audiences, and you know how to translate brand strategy, insights and performance data into strong creative direction.
This role will report directly into our VP of Brand and Creative and will oversee one direct report.
- Own the organic social strategy across channels, with Instagram and Tik Tok as primary drivers
- Set strategic and creative direction grounded in brand platform, insights and performance
- Develop audience‑led social thinking, content approaches for distinct parent mindsets
- Evolve Nanit's social voice, tone, and point of view across platforms
- Balance planned content systems with timely, trend‑aware opportunities
- Partner with paid social counterparts to scale high‑performing ideas
- Manage and mentor one direct report, providing strategic direction and feedback
- Partner with influencer lead to identify, onboard, and oversee creators on retainer, ensuring their work aligns with strategy and brand standards
- Define the role of secondary channels including Linked In, Reddit, and Substack within the broader social ecosystem
- 6‑8 years of experience leading organic social or social strategy for a consumer‑facing brand or agency‑side
- Deep expertise in Instagram and Tik Tok; working knowledge of Linked In, Reddit, and emerging platforms such as Substack
- A strong social strategist who understands how platforms, audiences, and content work together
- Data‑informed and insight‑driven, with a clear point of view on what good social looks like
- Experienced people leader who sets direction and empowers execution
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, test‑and‑learn environment
- Highly collaborative and effective working across creative, growth, and brand teams
- Fluency with paid social and experience bridging organic and performance marketing

This is a hybrid role that will require prospective candidates to be in our NYC office 3 days per week. Salary Range: $130,000 to $140,000 base salary + plus equity and benefits. The base pay is one component of Nanit's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short‑term and long‑term disability coverage, and basic life insurance.
