Field Marketing Manager Purpose

The primary purpose of the Field Marketing Manager is to work in partnership with Retail and Hospitality sales to develop strategic marketing plans, drive demand through localization of global/regional campaigns, execute events, create sales enablement tools, and own the ABM program. The advisor will develop and activate all demand initiatives and maintain strong field relationships. This role drives visibility to, and adoption of, integrated messaging, promotes new product launches, adapts, activates, and executes corporate programs to regional market needs.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborates with Vertical Marketing Manager and Sales Leadership to develop local GTM Strategy and all initiatives including brand awareness, demand creation, events, ABM campaigns, and sales enablement tools aligned with the yearly/quarterly strategic objectives.
  • Owns ABM strategy and execution partnering with Sales and Marketing stakeholders, utilizing data-driven insights, market intelligence, customer data, and sales insights to define, segment, and prioritize a set of high-potential target accounts.
  • Leads strategy for Tier 2 and 3 events for Retail & Hospitality including tech days and customer supplier events. Support Tier 1 event executive meeting and booth tour scheduling.
  • Leverages multiple marketing functions including sales, business intelligence, strategy, campaign marketing, portfolio marketing and services to support the achievement of the regional sales target.
  • Provides marketing support for key, strategic, named and territory accounts across multiple routes to market - direct, partner, distribution, etc.
  • Supports Retail & Hospitality sales to build, nurture and leverage a customer reference pipeline in region.
  • Supports in-country new product introductions and PR activities, in partnership with global marketing team.
  • Maintains and develops database of successful seller enablement materials.

Must be able to worky hybrid (3 days in office/2 remote) from Lincolnshire, IL or Holtsville, NY

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent specified vertical retail or hospitality business experience
  • 8+ years B2B marketing experience with 5+ years supporting the retail or hospitality vertical
  • 10% travel in US only
  • Work hybrid (3 days in office/2 remote) from Lincolnshire, IL or Holtsville, NY

Competencies:

  • Ability to think and act strategically and deliver operational planning alongside Sales leadership to balance the long- and short-term priorities
  • Experience with Salesforce and Demand base
  • Agility and leadership in working with and influencing virtual teams preferred
  • Fiscal responsibility via budget and project management preferred
