Why this job is exciting The roleCapacity is seeking an enthusiastic and detail‑oriented Marketing Specialist to play a critical role in driving our brand presence through high‑impact events and engaging social media strategies.
This is a dynamic position for a motivated self‑starter who thrives on logistical execution, content creation, and real‑time community engagement.
You will be instrumental in ensuring our events—both virtual and in ‑person—are successful lead‑generation machines and that our social channels reflect our innovative mission and vibrant culture.
Responsibilities Event Marketing & LogisticsSupport the planning, coordination, and execution of company events, including industry trade shows and webinars.
Manage pre- and post‑event logistics, including vendor communication, internal stakeholder coordination, securing booth space, managing registration platforms (e.g., Contrast), and coordinating collateral (swag, signage).
Track event budgets, measure event performance against KPIs (e.g., MQLs, attendance rate), and provide detailed post‑event reporting.
Coordinate on‑site event execution, ensuring a seamless experience for staff, partners, and attendees.
Social Media Strategy & ManagementExecute the day‑to‑day management of Capacity’s main social media channels (Linked In), including content scheduling, publishing, and real‑time community monitoring.
Develop engaging short‑form content (e.g., graphics, short videos, polls) to promote events, product launches, thought leadership, and company culture.
Monitor social media trends, analyze performance using native platform analytics, and provide insights to optimize posting schedules and content strategies.
Act as the primary point of contact for social media community engagement, responding to comments, direct messages, and fostering positive interactions.
Content & Creative CollaborationCollaborate with the Content and Design teams to ensure event and social media content is brand‑consistent, compelling, and aligned with campaign objectives.
Support the repurposing of event content (e.g., presentation slides, recordings, key takeaways) into engaging social media assets and post‑event email nurture campaigns.
Lead Generation & ReportingWork closely with the sales and revenue operations team to ensure timely and accurate lead capture, upload, and distribution following all events.
Maintain organized tracking and reporting of all activities within the CRM/marketing automation platform.
Requirements Experience & EducationPrevious experience (internship or entry‑level) in a B2B marketing role, with direct exposure to event planning or social media management.
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Event Specific SkillsFamiliarity with event planning fundamentals, including budgeting, vendor negotiation, and on‑site execution.
Experience managing event‑related platforms.
Social Media Specific SkillsProven understanding of best practices, algorithms, and content formats across major professional social media platforms (especially Linked In).
Comfort using social media management tools (e.g., Hub Spot, Denim Social) for scheduling and analytics.
