Job Summary
Hiring Salary Range: 65, with additional commission compensation available.
Remote office required. Must be within commutable distance to Colorado Springs for occasional office days (approx. 4‑5 times a year).
- Develop, support and execute a broad range of proactive PR and social media strategies for assigned clients.
- Identify key media targets, draft pitches and build relationships with reporters.
- Prepare materials such as media lists, briefing sheets and speaking/award opportunities for clients.
- Interact with a variety of clients for account management, presentations and new business proposals.
- Research social media trends, monitor client pages and craft high‑quality social content.
- Assist or lead small projects and/or accounts.
- Contribute to team and client meetings, speaking with confidence and generating ideas.
- Identify and work to resolve client account issues.
- Self‑correcting: ownership of mistakes, openness to process changes, flexible on shifting priorities, consistent manual task performance, positive relationship management.
- Self‑monitoring: prioritize workload, apply prior experience to new projects, sustain a steady pace with little guidance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- Minimum of two years professional agency public relations experience.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Expected Hours of WorkExempt, full‑time 40 hours per week with occasional extended hours.
TravelVery limited travel may be expected.
Work EnvironmentProfessional office environment using standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
