Account Director – Brand Integration

Responsibilities- Lead brand sponsorship and partnership outreach and strategy for client (brand and non‑profit) teams.
- Strategize, negotiate, and contract media partners for mixed‑media plans; execute media partnerships and branded content, including concepting, drafting, and editing.
- Assist in developing and executing comprehensive communications strategies.
- Serve as a thought‑leader for the agency and clients.
- Partner with PR, Talent, and Social Media teams to create integrated strategies.
- Train and mentor junior staff on brand integration, PR, media relations, and social campaigns.
- Manage and build on existing networks of brand representatives and contacts in entertainment, fashion, sports, and tech.
- Plan, manage, and execute brand and entertainment marketing and partnership strategies for product and campaign launches.
- Plan, manage, and execute sponsor ships for large‑scale events, film and TV integrations, and media partnerships.
- Achieve deliverables for a full roster of clients (average of 6–8).
- Participate in or lead new business meetings and create proposals as needed.
- Generate new opportunities for clients, including brand meetings and event sponsorship flagging.
- Collaborate with senior management to respond to client requests efficiently.
- Support account administration, including developing agendas, meeting recaps, activity reports, client status reports, and budget trackers.
- At least 8 years of brand sponsorship, partnership, entertainment marketing, and sales experience with a demonstrated track record in securing top‑tier brand partners, negotiating deals, developing and executing marketing and communication plans, creating out‑of‑the‑norm media moments, and managing staff.
- Successful sponsorship sales experience; secured and executed a six‑figure or higher sponsorship.
- Experience in branded content strategy and execution, beyond media buying.
- Experience working with corporate clients and adapting to their specific needs.
- Managed a team with direct oversight for at least 3 years.
- Strong writer—persuasive, concise, creative, and quick.
- Genuine interest in developing junior talent and empowering high performers.
- Strong decision‑making abilities and accountability.
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to work select evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
- Enjoys over delivering and takes pride in contributing to something good.
- Experience working on cause marketing campaigns.
- Experience with paid integration opportunities in TV and film; deep understanding of marketing opportunities with studios, networks, and streaming services.
- Experience managing production companies for small and large‑scale events.
- Familiarity with IOs and media partnership agreements.
- Previous experience working with teams in multiple locations (LA, NY, DC, Atlanta, Austin, SF, etc.).
- Experience using marketing databases and research tools like WINMO.
- Interest beyond brand marketing, integrating entertainment and social good.
$90,000 - $110,000 a year
