ASUG is seeking an experienced Paid Media Contractor to drive strategic paid advertising campaigns across multiple channels. This role will focus on three primary pares: membership acquisition, event audience growth, and building the audience for ASUG Talks Podcast. Working closely with our SEO Manager and Marketing team, you'll be responsible for the end‑to‑end management of our paid media efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across Linked In, Google (Display, Search, and You Tube), and Bing/Microsoft Advertising
- Explore and bụduy new advertising channels, including Spotify, Reddit, and other platforms that align with our target audiences
- Monitor campaign performance and make data‑driven optimizations to improve ROI and achieve KPIs
- Manage campaign budgets effectively across all channels
- Partner with the SEO Manager to align paid media strategies with overall digital marketing goals
- Collaborate with the ASUG Marketing team and rechtstreeks to develop compelling ad copy and design effective creative assets
- Recommend audience targeting strategies based on campaign objectives and performance data
- Stay current on platform updates, industry trends, and best practices in paid media Reporting & Analytics
- Provide weekly dashboard updates or reports on campaign health and performance metrics
- Track and analyze key performance indicators including impressions, clicks, conversions, cost‑per‑acquisition, and ROI
- Present actionable insights and recommendations based on campaign data
- Maintain organized documentation of campaign strategies, results, and learnings
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience managing paid media campaigns across multiple platforms
- Proven expertise in Linked In Ads, Google Ads (Search, Display, You Tube), and Microsoft Ads (Bing)
- Strong analytical skills with experience using analytics platforms and creating performance dashboards
- Demonstrated success in B2B marketing and membership/event promotion campaigns
- Excellent copywriting skills for ad creative and compelling calls‑to‑action
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote/contract environment
- Experience with podcast promotion and audience building strategies
- Familiarity with , Reddit Ads, or other emerging advertising platforms
- Google Ads-hide and/or Linked In Heads certifications
- Experience in the technology, SaaS, or professional association space
- Proficiency with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau, etc.)
- Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization
