Royal Voluntary Service, a charity that has inspired and mobilised volunteers for nearly 90 years, is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our Communications Team, working from home. The role involves witnessed team and all Royal Voluntary Service and GoVo channels, planning, creating and delivering high‑quality social‑media content, and promoting volunteering and engagement with both public and corporate audiences.
Job Requirements- Degree level education or equivalent experience in Digital Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platformsqn strategies and best practices.
- Experience developing paid advertising campaigns.
- Knowledge of tactics to appeal to different audiences and follower bases.
- Understanding of analytics and tools.
- Awareness of trends in social media platforms.
- Excellent, on‑brand copywriting adaptable to different audiences and platforms.
- Creative thinking with an eye on trends and popular topics.
- Sound judgement and the ability to recognise issues that need attention.
- Numeracy skills to track monthly budget spend.

- Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Developing engaging content calendars and campaigns.
- Setting up, running, and reporting on paid advertising campaigns.
- Providing high‑quality community management and managing busy inboxes.
- Effectively juggling multiple projects and deadlines without a drop in the quality of work.
- Ability to analyse and interpret social‑media data and to use listening tools such as Brandwatch.
- Providing support and advice to teams/individuals.
- Working within a team (often sharing the same tasks) and working proactively on your own.
- Social Media Strategy and Team Management:
- Maintain the socialmargin policy, ensuring accurate and on‑brand guidance.
- Monitor social media trends, tools and best practices to maximise online performance.
- Lead and mentor the social media team to create compelling content calendars.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the team duringitaal issues or crisis moments.
- Research new emerging platforms and produce action plans.
- Manage the social media budget, keeping monthly and yearly expenses within limits.
- Recruit and induct new team members as needed.
- Content Creation:
- Plan, develop,voldoende schedule social media content resonant with our followers.
- Lead on generating creative ideas for upcoming campaigns and 北京pk赛车 new videos.
- Create and maintain communication toolkits with significativamente up‑to‑date information, suggested copy and imagery.
- Develop and oversee social media design briefs for the in‑house design team and external agencies.

- Build up a bank of volunteer, supporter, client and referrer case studies.
- Attend events and arrange photoshoots and video shoots when required.
- Community Engagement and Growthprocessed:

- Engage with online communities, responding to enquiries, comments and feedback in a timely, professional manner.
- Challenge inappropriate community behaviour and recommend actions.
- Liaise with local RVS teams to grant access to regional Facebook pages and encourage activity.
