SEO Team Lead

Contracting Empire is an agency with a subsidiary in Indonesia that specializes in providing websites, SEO, local SEO, and ad management services for contractors in the US. As an SEO team lead, your role within the company is crucial to the success of our clients and our team.

You understand, write, and speak English like a native. Understanding English context is a key part of the job, and we will test this in the first minutes of your initial interview

You treat SEO as a living system and you’re obsessed with being on top of the latest trends

You have at least 3 years of experience working with SEO and local SEO

You lead by example, raise the team’s standards, give clear feedback, and care deeply about your team and the quality of their work

You hold yourself to a high standard in everything you do

You’re comfortable in talking to clients, shooting video reports, and keeping clients in the loop with everything you do on their accounts, because you’re invested in their success

End-to-end SEO and local SEO performance - You understand this domain as a whole, and you own the outcomes, not the tasks. Experience working in a digital marketing agency is a must.

Seeing what others miss - You constantly analyze data to identify constraints, improvements, and bottlenecks. You act on improving things without being asked.

Making decisions under uncertainty - Complex problems don’t discourage you and you think in solutions. You’re comfortable testing hypotheses and adjusting based on results and evidence.

This is a remote job, with occasional meetups in Bali (living or willingness to relocate to Bali is a big advantage)

Five working days per week, Monday to Friday

You can start work at 9 or 10 AM, Bali time

Higher than average salary for Indonesia, with continuous room for growth based on performance
