Overview

Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is $66,000‑$76,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.

As a Planning Supervisor at Starcom, your role is to provide oversight to the development of media plans that deliver on client objectives, while ensuring that human insights drive business outcomes. You will be responsible to the management of junior team members and ensuring that their deliverables are clear, concise and accurate. You will work closely with your Director to develop and sell through Zenith and Publicis Media solutions to your roster of clients.

Responsibilities
  • You will have ongoing direct client contact for those brands under your specific responsibility
  • Gather and analyze data and human insights to determine the client’s advertising and media needs
  • Create and present media plans to clients
  • Analyzes media alternatives and make recommendations as to how to best allocate the advertising budget
  • Clearly communicates client brand and campaign objectives to the team to ensure insightful and strategic connections plan delivery that bring human connections to life
  • Provides guidance to and mentors Media Strategy Planners and Assistants to ensure their successful professional development
  • Provides oversight to accuracy, quality and timeliness of Strategy Planner and Assistants’ work
  • Co‑ordinate with partner agencies and global counterparts to maintain efficient work streams
  • Oversight to financial process – ensuring monthly billing is accurate and complete according to deadlines, ensuring discrepancies are managed
  • Part of the Supervisor role will be to work with the team Director to determine areas of growth for each assigned client: determining appropriate mix of Zenith and Publicis Media offerings, effectively selling through solutions
