Overview

Thermon is a global leader in industrial process heating, and we're looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you'll be the dedicated marketing resource for the Vapor Precision product line within the Thermon brand, working closely with our global marketing team, sales, and product subject matter experts (SMEs).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-oriented mid-level marketing professional to make a significant impact on a key product line with global reach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for designated product line, aligning with overall company goals and global marketing initiatives.
  • Create compelling marketing content across various channels, including website copy, blogs, product sheets, presentations, case studies, email campaigns, social media posts, and more.
  • Collaborate closely with product Subject Matter Experts to deeply understand product features, benefits, and target audiences, translating technical information into clear and engaging marketing messages.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the sales team to develop effective sales tools and materials that support their efforts and drive product adoption.
  • Plan meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists.
  • Support the global marketing team by contributing to broader campaigns, sharing best practices, and ensuring consistency in brand messaging.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs, informing marketing strategies and product positioning.
  • Analyze marketing campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Manage marketing projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Manage trade shows, webinars, and other promotional activities as needed.
  • Other activities as assigned.

Knowledge and Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within a B2B industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns and writing marketing collateral across various digital and traditional channels.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global team environment and adapt to different cultural contexts.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and contribute.

This position is based in Austin, TX, with a requirement of three days in the office per week, offering the flexibility to work from home for the remaining two days. Occasional travel may be required.
