Associate Account Director/Account Director, Affiliate Marketing
Join Acceleration Partners as an Associate Account Director / Account Director in Affiliate Marketing. This role focuses on building client relationships, delivering strategy, and driving revenue growth for a portfolio of online brands.
Responsibilities- Serve as primary relationship manager for a portfolio of clients; build trust and engage with marketing leadership and C‑suite.
- Develop forward‑thinking strategies, pitch high‑potential opportunities, and oversee execution with account teams.
- Analyze program data, identify risks and opportunities, and use insights to guide strategic decisions.
- Lead client renewal efforts, identify and close expansion opportunities, and support new business pitches.
- Coach and influence account teams without direct management responsibility; ensure high‑quality client outputs.
- Enthusiasm for client delivery and engagement.
- Ability to grow client programs and oversee large teams with mixed accountability.
- Commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Self‑starter with strong motivation to hit revenue goals.
- Strategic planner who brings ideas to life.
- Data‑oriented with deep online industry knowledge.
- Excellent communication, written and oral.
- Accountable, meeting deadlines and commitments.
- Ability to lead by example and collaborate remotely.
- Effective at overcoming roadblocks with a solution‑oriented approach.
- 8+ years of online marketing, e‑commerce, or affiliate marketing experience.
- General understanding of affiliate marketing (agency or in‑house).
- Proficiency in delivering presentations, decks, and strategy storytelling.
- Experience managing revenue targets (plus).
- Data analysis experience and use of insights for strategy.
- Knowledge of affiliate tracking platforms (Radius, Share
ASale, etc.). - Microsoft Office expertise.
- Agency or client‑service environment experience.
- Track record of increasing client spend through upselling and expansion.
