Marketing and Communications Coordinator
We are working with our healthcare non‑profit client outside of Olympia, WA to recruit a Marketing and Communications Coordinator for a four‑month contract, primarily onsite with occasional hybrid flexibility. Join a thriving marcom function that services the entire organization by curating campaigns, planning and hosting events, guiding fundraising efforts, owning digital marketing, and supporting a variety of other projects.
Responsibilities- Support daily operations of a busy integrated marketing and communications team, maintaining schedules, calendars, department procedures, vendor relationships, and similar.
- Write and edit content for marketing and communications campaigns for use across social media, email newsletters, website materials, internal communications, and more.
- Aid in event planning, execution and break‑down for corporate events, fundraisers, trade shows, meetings, kick‑offs and more; support the team in creating assets and materials, vendor relationship management, etc.
- Work with designers and other cross‑functional teams to curate integrated campaigns, materials and ensure alignment between final product and project needs.
- Coordinate other projects for the department, ensuring deadlines are met, budgets are aligned, timelines are kept and supporting department leadership.
- 1+ year of professional experience in marketing, communications or non‑profit development; experience in a blended operations or administrative role with marketing experience welcomed.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across the organization to plan events, campaigns and other projects.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with experience creating content for social media, email campaigns and similar.
- Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite and database tools; experience in email marketing and social media management tools highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.
Pay ranges from $23 to $26 an hour, based on level of relevant experience and marketing background. As an LHH contractor you will be eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401(K) and WA state accruing sick time benefits, and will be a W2, 40‑hour‑per‑week employee.
Location and Work ArrangementContract role on a highly collaborative, friendly team that works across the entire company. Must be comfortable commuting to the office outside of Olympia daily; occasional remote work flexibility will be provided as needed.
