Position: Senior Trade Show & Events Specialist (m/f/d)

Role description

The Global Marketing Team at Arethia is looking for a new member to take the lead on Trade Shows and Events for our three B2B flavor brands. As Senior Trade Show and Brand Experience Specialist you will be based in Reinbek, but will travel to trade shows in Europe, Dubai and the US. You will work in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing colleagues based in Germany, Switzerland, UAE, and Indonesia.

In this role you will also be well positioned to observe new market trends and innovations and will leverage this for creating trade show activations and quarterly ‘discovery days’ where we present innovations and trends to key customers. Arethia’s brands are at varying stages of maturity, so you will have the opportunity to creatively influence and shape the trade fair presence and event execution of the brands.

You will also build/improve the existing tradeshow project management processes.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong project management skills
  • Creative and commercial flair for creating on-brand trade show booths and brand experiences
  • 6+ years’ experience in Trade show and Event project management.
  • Business‑level communication skills in English.
  • Readiness to travel to the EU/US/Middle East regions for Events/Trade shows (estimated travel 25‑30 days per year)

Our Process

Preferred Qualifications
  • Confident leading meetings and asking the right questions at the right time to ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Hands on approach whilst attending shows to handle booth set up, packing down, and any on‑site event management and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborative and inquisitive mindset for fostering a positive relationship with Sales & Marketing team members across our global offices. This is key for cross‑functional projects related to the trade fairs, trend reports and ‘discovery days’.
  • Experienced in monitoring industry trends and competitor activities through trade fair attendance.
  • Proficiency in German is an advantage.
Your Mission
  • Project manage and execute 6+ trade shows from start to finish each year across Europe, Dubai, Indonesia and, in the future, US.
  • Brief booth design/building companies to ensure our stand meets sales’ needs and brand identity standards.
  • Liaise closely with suppliers and negotiate prices, whilst ensuring a quality execution.
  • Work closely with the rest of the Marketing Team to ensure on‑brand activations and execution of all customer touchpoints.
  • Plan and execute pre‑show marketing activities such a as sponsorship and advertising to ensure show objectives and KPIs are met.
  • Carry out the relevant post‑show analysis and collect input/learnings for the next year.
  • Build strong relationships with the Sales Teams to ensure trade shows meet their customers’ needs.
  • Immerse yourself in the flavour industry trends to deliver valuable input for the quarterly ‘discovery days’ and annual trend report.
  • Order and co‑ordinate collateral and merchandise across all markets.
