About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Regional Sales Director to lead our Regional Sales Manager (RSM) team and drive growth across the Southwest, Rocky Mountain, and Pacific regions. This role will focus on expanding our distribution network, strengthening key customer relationships, and executing regional sales strategies that support long-term growth.
The Regional Sales Director will lead a team of Regional Sales Managers while working closely with peers in sales leadership, customer success, marketing, and operations to ensure a coordinated approach to serving our customers and partners. This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys coaching teams, building partnerships within the agricultural industry, and identifying new opportunities in a dynamic market.
What You’ll Do
Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team
- Coach and support a team of four Regional Sales Managers across multiple states
- Set clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and support professional development
- Lead a geographically distributed team through strong communication and collaboration
Drive Regional Sales Strategy
- Develop and execute regional sales and marketing strategies aligned with company goals
- Identify growth opportunities within the distribution network and end-user markets
- Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity
- Maintain strong relationships with key distributors and strategic customers
- Identify and onboard new distribution partners where opportunities exist
- Support distributor training, performance improvement, and strategic alignment
Partner Across the Organization
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams
- Ensure customer satisfaction and consistent service delivery
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and market insights to leadership
Use Data to Drive Decisions
- Utilize CRM and sales data to guide strategy and performance
- Monitor KPIs and adjust plans to achieve regional sales targets
- Provide regular reporting and recommendations to senior leadership

What You Bring
- 7–10+ years of experience in agricultural sales, dairy supplies, equipment, nutrition, genetics, or related industries
- 3–5 years of experience leading regional or multi-state sales teams
- Experience working with distributor networks
- Strong leadership, coaching, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on approach to problem solving
- Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into action
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment
- Willingness to travel regularly to support customers, distributors, and team members
Preferred Education
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business, or a related field.
