We are growing and have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager in the Western Region of the United States!
The roleAs Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for the achievement of unit and revenue goals for the assigned products in an assigned region.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve short and long-term business objectives
Responsibilities- Weekly communication with leadership and team on Regional performance, challenges, and successes;
Lead and oversee Regional opportunity pipeline and opportunity management strategies that translate into accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual projections - Attend National and Regional Trade Shows when needed
- Plan and lead regional and national meetings
- Review and approve pricing request
- Participate and help lead leadership meetings when needed
- Help plan and coordinate sales promotions
- Foster and build relationship with distributor partners
- Participate in leadership trainings
- Utilize field visits and individual or group meetings and telephone contacts to
- Train and develop employees in sales skills, product knowledge, teamwork, time and territory management, competitive knowledge, and career goals pursuits
- Communicate corporate, divisional, regional and/or district mission, goals and activities
- Direct and motivate personnel to achieve unit and revenue goals
- Provide ongoing feedback/coaching and regularly schedule performance reviews
- Implement corrective actions when necessary
- Assist employees with individual development plans (IDPs)
- Provide overall management of district assets including
- Developing and managing budgets and forecasts
- Ensuring efficient, effective use of inventory and expenses
- Negotiating and resolving price and contract issues (with reps, accounts, regional management and home office personnel)
- Develop ethical, long-term customer relationships and represent Blatchford management to customers
- Recruit and interview candidates to maintain a strong personnel "bench," hire top candidates for open positions, and meet workplace diversity goals
- Provide feedback of marketing intelligence to sales and marketing Management
- You are motivated by having a direct impact on the quality of life for patients we work with
- You have a bachelor’s degree and 5 years of medical sales experience
- You have experience with sales and personnel management functions
- You have a successful medical sales record
- You have knowledge of prosthetics
- You have additional experience in marketing, training technical services or related areas
