As Principal Project Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of implementation projects with a primary focus on high‑complexity projects/programs and clients in terms of client engagement, resource and financial management, and stakeholder complexity.
WhatYou Will Be Responsible For
- Lead the execution of complex projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, client expectations, and organizational objectives
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including resource allocation, budgets, timelines, and milestones
- Coordinate and manage cross‑functional teams, ensuring that all project tasks are executed efficiently and effectively
- Oversee the identification and management of project risks, developing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders and senior leadership to provide updates on project status, risks, and issues
- Monitor and report on project performance using key metrics, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful delivery
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and are in line with client requirements
- Drive the continuous improvement of project management practices, implementing best practices and refining processes for optimal efficiency
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project managers, encouraging collaboration and sharing expertise to ensure successful project execution
- Ensure that project documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with organizational standards
- Effective leadership skills and the ability to motivate and engage employees
- Ability to build and develop solid customer relationships
- Ability to make sound decisions by pursuing ways to balance quality, cost, risk and resources
- Great time management and prioritization skills
- Effective planning, execution, and coordination skills
- Caring attitudes and the capacity to hear what others say
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Expertise in negotiation, advocacy, and managing conflicts
- Fluency in English
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- PMI/Prince 2 or equivalent certification
- Readiness to travel to customer sites with flexibility to work from home or remotely
