Foundation Program Manager Prospect Management & Research : Remote

Job Description

The Manager, Prospect Management & Research collaborates with Development professionals to design unique, personalized, data-driven strategies for prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.

The Manager conducts comprehensive, proactive prospect research using a variety of online sources, makes recommendations regarding the philanthropic viability of prospective donors, and develops pathway strategies for meaningful engagement.

The Manager prepares individualized prospect profiles, briefings and strategy recommendations. The Manager develops a framework for documenting interconnected and interdependent relationships within our donor and prospect pool. The Manager works with a large volume of personal and financial information regarding individuals, families and corporations; thus, discretion and sound judgement are paramount.

The Manager is responsible for directly supporting and managing the portfolios of approximately seven fundraisers and will be expected to strategically analyze portfolios to assist the Development team in driving donor identification and cultivation, as well as develop new tactics for pipeline development. The Manager is also responsible for conducting quarterly portfolio reviews.

The Manager is responsible for helping to maintain the accuracy of the Foundation’s collective knowledge and donor database. The Manager collaborates with Development to ensure soft intel gained from meetings and interactions is accurately captured and can be utilized to inform future strategies. The Manager maintains access to external information sources and an internal research library of electronic resources.

The Manager performs other duties as assigned.

This position is remote and works with a remote team of three additional colleagues. The Manager is expected to be proficient in remote work standards, with occasional requirements to be onsite.

• 3 - 5 years of prospect research and management experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• MS office (Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook)
• Salesforce, Power BI, and iWave experience desired, but not required
