Position: (Remote) Vice President, Sales

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Accountable for all activities of the Sales department, ensuring accurate forecasting of monthly bookings and costs
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal company functions to support business development
  • Generate new business and foster relationships with current clients, prospects, and consultants
  • Ensure sales metrics are met or exceeded, including P&L responsibilities with monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast predictability
  • Develop quota and commission plans for the sales team while cross‑selling other business units
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales and/or in the utilities industry
  • Proven experience in growing and managing a team of sales professionals
  • Comfortable presenting software in front of executives, supervisors, and end users
  • Effective leadership skills, including decision‑making, presentation, and organizational abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on execution
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in the utilities industry
  • Proven ability to manage the financial aspects of a team, including OPEX and P&L
  • Ability to manage multiple, diverse projects and sales events simultaneously
  • Capacity to drive significant outcomes through efficient use of limited resources
