Position: (Remote) Vice President, Sales

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Oversee all activities of the Sales department to ensure accurate forecasting of monthly bookings and costs
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal company functions to support business development
  • Generate new business while fostering relationships with current clients, prospects, and consultants
  • Ensure sales metrics are met or exceeded, managing P&L responsibilities for the department
  • Establish competitive strategies and targeted sales campaigns for emerging products and services
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise software sales and/or in the utilities industry
  • Proven experience in growing and managing a team of sales professionals
  • Comfortable presenting software solutions to executives, supervisors, and end users
  • Strong leadership skills, including decision-making, presentation, and organizational abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience specifically within the utilities industry
  • Proven ability to manage the financial aspects of a team, including OPEX and P&L
  • Capability to manage multiple, diverse projects and sales events simultaneously
  • Skill in driving significant outcomes through efficient use of limited resources
